My ceramic collection 'levante' is dedicated to a beautiful natural phenomenon you can observe in Tarifa – the Levante wind. It captures the moments you experience on the beach and the feelings you have amidst the wind. Ocean landscape, play of lights, water splashes, and flying sand – these cups are a part of this beauty.

Tarifa and the Atlantic coast of Cádiz are my constant sources of inspiration – unique and beautiful in every season, in any weather, and at every time of day. Each moment reveals a different experience, offering varied textures, geometries, colors, and unexpected details, all shifting with the changing light and wind conditions. Levante is a powerful wind and a beautiful natural phenomenon that defines and enhances life in this region.

My ceramic cups 'levante' capture this beauty, offering a piece of the landscape and a snapshot of this special moment that you can hold in your hand. Each time you touch them, you can feel the essence and textures of the beautiful Atlantic beach.

The cups feature a glossy finish both inside and out, decorated with colorful transparent glazes and 'grains of sand.' Just as the real Levante wind plays with the elements of nature, making each moment special, the glaze combinations and 'wind gusts' on the exterior of each cup are unique and unrepeatable.

The medium size offers a larger volume compared to the rest of my collections, approx. 240ml. Fired at 1250ºC.

It's one of my latest collections, still evolving as I explore new color combinations. I am excited to share some of the designs I’ve developed so far.

All the pieces in the 'levante' collection are handcrafted by me in my ceramic studio in Malaga. The cups are wheel-thrown, made from fine white stoneware, and fired at 1250ºC.
